About the Journal
Focus and Scope
Text and Thought publishes original, unpublished scholarly work that examines literature and philosophy in their intersections, convergences, and tensions. The journal encourages interdisciplinary, comparative, and theoretically informed research. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

The journal publishes research articles, theoretical essays, review articles, and critical reflections.
Peer Review Policy
All submissions undergo a double-blind peer-review process. Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent experts in the relevant field to ensure academic rigor, originality, and scholarly relevance.
Open Access Policy
Text and Thought is an open access journal, providing immediate and free access to all published content. Readers are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles without financial, legal, or technical barriers, in accordance with the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative.
No subscription fees are charged for readers.
Copyright and Licensing
Copyright of published articles remains with the author(s). Authors grant the journal the right of first publication. Unless otherwise stated, articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) or CC BY-NC license, allowing appropriate reuse with proper citation of the original work.
Publication Ethics
The journal adheres to internationally recognized standards of publication ethics, including those outlined by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics). Plagiarism, data fabrication, and unethical research practices are not tolerated.
Sponsorship and Funding
Text and Thought is published independently. The journal is not sponsored by any commercial organization. Any future institutional or academic sponsorship will be transparently disclosed on the journal website.
Archiving and Preservation
The journal participates in digital preservation initiatives to ensure long-term accessibility of its content. Published articles are archived through systems compatible with LOCKSS and CLOCKSS, subject to technical implementation within the publishing platform.
